Diva Day – Early Spring Indulgence for the Ladies

DIVA DAY Saturday, April 26th, 2014  is a special girls’  early spring day out in Clarksville!  There are many treats in store for our favorite divas thoughout the day.

Start at 10 a.m. at the Fine Arts Gallery located at 114 Howard Street. The  first 100 divas will receive an artsy  tote bag with discount coupons for the shops and attractions around town. One tote bag per person and you must be present to receive one.  There will be a special reception and raffle prize drawings are also  held here at the end of the day for those in attendance.

Mary Ostertag of MaryO Art Studio and Gallery will be serving donuts and coffee at  her newly renovated church studio located on the corner of Third and Howard Streets.

Barb Chappuis of Bee Naturals will be giving free mini makeovers on 103 N. First Street at various times throughout the day.

Richard Cottrell of the Elgin Cotrell House will be offering a house tour of his restored Victorian home located at 209 S. First Street. Please meet at the Main Cross entrance at 3 p.m. sharp.  $5 per person fee.

Marcia Whitt of the Bent Tree Gallery will be offering a mixed media pendant making class at 3 p.m. in her gallery located at 102 S. Second Street. There will be limited seating for the class.

Nancy Koehler of Simpatico, an Art Gallery Co-op will be the visiting artist at the gallery. Stop by to put in an entry to win a collection of Simpatico Artists’ work at 105 C. South First Street. You will need to be present at the Diva Reception at the end  of the day in order to win the prize.

Trish Connolly of Fine Arts Gallery will be offering raffle tickets for $1 to win various prizes to also be awarded at the end of day Diva Reception that will be held here at 4pm.

The Diva Day Reception is the perfect way to end a fun day. Gather at 4p.m. at the Fine Arts Gallery. Raffle prizes will be given away during the reception. Hand painted martini glasses will be for sale for $10 and include unlimited martinis.  Chocolate Martinis ($5 each without glass purchase), chocolate covered strawberries, wine and snacks will also be served during the reception.

    • Hi Mary,
      Diva Day is a local event put on by the artists in our small town of 400+. You may want to contact the individuals artists to see if they are interested in having a vendor set up in their studio or gallery for the day. This is not traditionally the purpose of the event but I would not say it is totally out of the question depending upon what your product is.
